Misty Brown serves as Chief People Officer at Vocate Education Solutions, where she leads the vision and strategy for culture, talent, and the overall employee experience. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to help people love where they work.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience across human resources, talent acquisition, employee engagement, marketing, and corporate communications, Misty has built a reputation for transforming organizations into thriving, award-winning cultures. She has guided startups through rapid growth and revitalized established companies, bringing agility, creativity, and a commitment to reimagining traditional HR practices to create people strategies that reflect the realities of life and the evolving future of work.

Before joining Vocate, Misty held senior leadership roles at Ultimate Medical Academy and other global organizations in online education, advertising, and consulting. At UMA, she helped shape a people-first culture that earned multiple Top Workplaces recognitions. Her work across several organizations has also contributed to accolades such as Best Places to Work and People First designations—honors that reflect her dedication to exceptional employee experiences and organizational care.

Misty holds a Master of Arts in Communication Management from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and is a SHRM-SCP certified professional.
